Day of Caring

Day of Caring is a one-day, community-wide event that allows corporate and nonprofit volunteers the opportunity to see their contributions at work. This annual event connects over 500 volunteers with nonprofits, giving them the chance to learn more about the health and human service needs in Northwest Louisiana.

Day of Caring kicks off with a pep rally breakfast hosted by Horseshoe Casino where participants enjoy live entertainment and other fun activities. Teams then depart to their project sites to tackle things like painting, landscaping, clerical work, cleaning, and sorting food and donations. Projects last three to four hours and the day ends with an after-party celebration where we announce the award for Most Spirited.

We will announce the date of #DOC2018 soon!
