Louise Droddy
Director of 2-1-1
Louise Droddy is the Director of 2-1-1 for United Way of Northwest Louisiana. She’s responsible for compiling and maintaining the resource database for 2-1-1, which links people in need to relevant information. She has worked closely with our partner agencies to establish the database of public and community-based resources for all of Northwest Louisiana.
Louise is a Shreveport native with more than 15 years of work in the non-profit sector. She has worked with a range of issues spanning from homelessness to domestic violence to family reunification. Most recently she worked to rehome the homeless veteran population through the VOA. Her passion for veterans stems from her family, many of whom served in the military. She is also passionate about organ donation because her dad was double lung transplant recipient.
Family is very important to Louise. She and her husband, Bryan, have been married for 21 years. Her daughters, Mackenzie and Caroline, are both in college. Louise’s favorite past time is to go to the beach with her whole family.
