Louisiana 211 Referral & Care Coordinator

Kimberly Williams is the Louisiana 211 Referral and Care Coordinator for United Way Northwest Louisiana. Her role includes working with the Louisiana 211 Statewide Network to focus on serving clients directly to secure services that meet the clients’ needs.

Kimberly is a Ruston, LA native. She began her service to others as a child, volunteering with local organizations within her community. For the last decade, Kimberly has worked as a public servant for the State of Louisiana, working in the Department of Children and Family Services and the Department of Education. In 2021, she received her master’s degree in nonprofit administration from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. Additionally, she has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Louisiana Tech University. Her passion for making a more significant impact in the lives of all people in Louisiana fueled her desire to enter the nonprofit sector full-time.

When Kimberly is not working, she enjoys movie dates with her three boys, traveling to her son’s football games, cooking, and doing yard work at her home. You will always see Kimberly wearing a massive smile as she wholeheartedly believes that your smile is your light, and you should always let your light shine.
