Jennifer Horton is the Office Manager for United Way of Northwest Louisiana. She is responsible for providing support to our senior staff team, accounts payables and receivables, and ensuring the day-to-day functions are ran smoothly.
Jennifer is originally from Alexandria, LA and has lived in Shreveport since 2011. She made her start in nonprofit working for Providence House. Seeing firsthand the needs of the community, Jennifer knew she had found her passion working to help others achieve the greatest potential. She has served in several positions at United Way and has a deep understanding and passion for the work we do. Jennifer was a 40 under Forty nominee in 2019 for her outstanding work in the community. She is also passionate about disaster relief and previously served as President for Northwest Louisiana Voluntary Agencies Active in Disaster (VOAD.)
Jennifer lives with her husband, Brandon, and their daughter Kennedy Jane. She has two other children, Sara and Cade. Jennifer loves spending time with her family and their Saturday morning coffee runs. She and Brandon are Texas Rangers fans and are patiently waiting on a World Series win.
