Vice President of Community Impact
Jennifer Horton serves as our Vice President of Community Impact. She oversees our annual competitive grant process, the Volunteer Center, as well as our internal Health and Education programs.
Jennifer made her start in nonprofit when she worked for Providence House as their Resource and Volunteer Coordinator. Seeing firsthand the needs of the community, she became driven to create an impact through her daily work. Her husband, Brandon, shares those same passions and has served on the board for Young People in Recovery, a national nonprofit organization that provides tools and support for those seeking recovery, and is currently the treasurer on the board of Samaritan Counseling Center.
Jennifer is originally from Alexandria, LA and moved to Shreveport in 2011. She and Brandon live with their children and fur-children. Jennifer is happiest when she is spending time with her family. She also enjoys running and Sunday car rides. She and Brandon both share a love of baseball and are loyal Texas Rangers fans. They are patiently waiting on a World Series win.
