During the second week of February, United Ways across Louisiana will host events to highlight the importance of improving access to affordable, high-quality early childcare and education for all Louisiana families.  United Way of Northwest Louisiana has partnered with Louisiana Policy Institute for Children  to speak up for increased government funding for early care and education in our region. Providence House Child Development Center, the only homeless shelter with a Title III daycare facility, will serve as host for this event.
