LYNN STEVENS

Lynn Stevens is the Chief Operating Office for the United Way of Northwest Louisiana.  Prior to United Way, Lynn was Director of Administration at Providence House and has been serving the nonprofit sector for over 19 years. She has used her experience and leadership skills for many types of organizations including the North Webster Community Center, the Tippecanoe Environmental Foundation and the Children’s Museum of Eastern Oregon.  Lynn has helped to secure over 30 million dollars for Northwest Louisiana nonprofit organizations in the past ten years and has raised over 45 million dollars in her nonprofit management career.  Prior to her nonprofit work, Lynn was employed in the corporate sector with Pepsico Brands for seven years.

Lynn is actively involved with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Rotary Club of Bossier City, Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault and the Quota Club of Shreveport. She is also a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management and Grant Professionals Association.

Honors and awards include the Association of Fundraising Professionals Fundraising Executive of the Year, Bossier Chamber “Scott Croft” Spirit Award, Athena Award Nominee, SB Magazine’s Women in Business Recognition, Quota International District 21 All Star Award, and the Quota Club of Shreveport Volunteer of the Year.

Lynn and her husband Aaron, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, have two beautiful children, Kaitlyn and Colin. Hobbies include photography, sporting events, being outdoors and completing her “bucket list”.
