Grant Opportunities

COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANTS

United Way of Northwest Louisiana accepts grant applications annually beginning in August through a two-stage application process. We award grants of varying sizes based on community needs in alignment with our United Way focus areas. Nonprofits with a 501(c)(3) status in our ten parish region are encouraged to apply. (Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, Webster, and Winn.)

Timeline for 2020-2021 Cycle

Due to the Novel COVID-19 Pandemic, United Way must adjust our timeline and funding decisions. When the new timeline is solidified, Stage Two Applicants will be notified of funding decisions and award schedules.

2021-2022 Cycle

Considering the uncertainty surrounding the pervasive nature of COVID-19, and the vulnerability to our communities, United Way has not set dates for our Stage One (LOI) training sessions (usually occurring in July). While abiding by the Governor’s Stay-at-Home order, our team is assessing the situation on a weekly basis and will make decisions as the situation develops.
