(Shreveport, LA) – The United Way of Northwest Louisiana will begin accepting application for its 2016 competitive grant cycle on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Nonprofit organizations serving the 10 parish region of Northwest Louisiana are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a 501(c)3 status prior to submitting the application. Applicants are asked to submit a full application by Thursday, October 15th at 4 p.m. A letter of intent is no longer required. Interested organizations are required to attend at least one mandatory orientation session prior to submitting the application. Four sessions are offered between August 26th and September 16th. Reservations are required and all sessions will be at Community Central.
