Stephanie Barnette is the Community Engagement Coordinator and is responsible for coordinating, managing, and implementing United Way’s community engagement activities through volunteerism. She focuses on providing volunteer opportunities through corporate engagement activities and works closely with other non-profit agencies to build and maintain positive relationships. Stephanie has always been active in the community and known the importance of non-profits, but it wasn’t until joining the United Way team that she realized just how much of a positive impact is being made every single day to those in need.
After graduating high school, Stephanie knew she wanted to attend Louisiana Tech University. Go Dawgs! After obtaining her degree from Louisiana Tech, Stephanie worked for the City of Minden and the Minden South-Webster Chamber of Commerce. Her love of community and desire to help people succeed is what made transitioning to United Way so easy.
Stephanie currently lives in Minden with her husband Ryan, and two kids, Noah and Harper. Stephanie is active in the Young Women’s Service Club in Minden. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and loves Mexican food. One of her favorite quotes to live by is “Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position or prestige. It is discovered in goodness, humility, service and character.” – WA Ward
