Serena Gray is currently our Senior Campaign Coordinator, serving as an ambassador for resource development through workforce campaigns throughout Northwest Louisiana. Serena was born in North Hollywood, California and moved to Lafayette, Louisiana at the age of 10. Her love for the Cajun community quickly progressed as she was introduced to crawfish, boudin, Mardi Gras and most importantly, zydeco. Although once a west coast gal, she is full of Louisiana pride and has deep appreciation for the cultural diversity that can be found throughout the state of Louisiana.
Serena is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During her time at Louisiana Tech, she was active in the Student Government Association, Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, the Baptist Colligate Ministries, the Miss Louisiana Organization and The Christian Church at Minden.
Serena currently lives in Minden, Louisiana with her husband, Joel Gray, and their dog Reese. She is a praise and worship leader, college and career course instructor, and girl’s youth conference leader at The Christian Church at Minden. She also continues to actively volunteer at The Joe LeBlanc Food Pantry and is a member of the Young Women’s Service Club, Young Professionals’ Initiative, Shreveport Leadership Program and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
