Family-sustaining Employment - Individuals access the training, education, and support needed to obtain and keep family-sustaining employment; the workforce development system is streamlined to increase access to training and facilitate placement in jobs that pay family-sustaining wages. Individuals with severe or significant disabilities have access to sheltered or supported employment.
Income Supports - Individuals and families enroll in the public, private and informal benefits for which they are eligible.
Financial Literacy/Independence - Families obtain financial literacy, credit repair and foreclosure counseling while building savings for unexpected expenses. They accumulate assets to support longer-term goals such as home ownership.
